The first egg hunt we went to was hilarious. It was sponsored by the local Park District and grocery store. The park district must have donated the eggs with candy and the grocery store contributed loaves of bread, frozen pizzas, Lays chips, Hog Wash drinks and hostess snacks. Lydia started strong in her age group, running forward and then just wandered around, bypassing all the eggs/food. Even though I was yelling at her to pick things up. Lucas was a few groups later, so I took the time to coach him (do I sound competitive, because I am.) He wandered out, picked up 3 bags of chips and 3 Hog washes and said he was tired. He didn't pick up any eggs at all. I can only laugh, it was so funny. Oddly enough, both kids were really pleased with their stuff, so who am I to complain?
We also egg hunted at the library with their cousins and a local church. Each time we got better.
We had a great four days together. When they aren't fighting, they sure are lots of fun.
