The week of the young child was last week. Lydia had a ton of activities at her preschool, including a parade. I walked along and took pictures and Grandad marched with her. They went around the block outside the school. At first, she was a little hesitant, but then really got into it and smiled for me. It's so nice that Grandad is retired and can come to these things.
And here's a picture of us at a party Aunt Ali had for her boyfriend. He recently passed his citizenship test and is a proud new American. We dressed in our red, white and blue and looked so good, we had our picture taken by a flag she had up as decoration. Lydia had to take her American Girl doll too. She's part of the family. :)
