Zoo time!
We had a wonderful day at the St Louis Zoo yesterday. The weather was perfect and Lucas had tons of fun. He was gasping in awe at everything. It was so fun to watch. He loved seeing the baby animals with their families. And he was thrilled by the sea lion show. Sea Lions, Elaine, Alex and Rosie really kept him clapping. He continued yelling "SHOW!" all thru the zoo. We rode the train (Grandad loves trains). It was such a great time, I can't wait to take him to other sights this summer. Isn't he sweet in his ball cap? I had to bribe him to wear it by purchasing the binoculars too. It was so funny, he was always looking thru the wrong end of the binoculars. Too cute!
Carra - you are silly. What are you going checking on Lucas from Korea? :) Just kidding, I'm sure you are killing time and getting over the jet lag. Take care, Mindee
I'm a single mom to Lucas who was adopted in August 2006 thru CHI. I started the process to adopt a sibling for Lucas on Valentine's Day 2007. I've requested either gender and as young as possible. Most likely, our new baby will be a boy because of the high demand for girls. I'm so excited for Lucas to have a brother!
As of 01/06/09, I'm #64 on the waiting list. Still hoping for a miracle with Vietnam!
2/1/09 - Vietnam is on hold and I'm currently hoping to adopt from Nepal in 2009!
In June 2010, we were blessed with our new addition from Nepal, Lydia Madhavi.
