It's been a roller coaster of a week

Wow! What a week! On Monday, I found out the the Prime Minister in Nepal had resigned. This caused political turmoil in Nepal according to news reports on the internet. Almost everyone was saying that the government processes would slow down, including adoptions. Slow down??? They haven't started yet is what I was thinking.

What a difference a few days makes! This afternoon, families on my chat group are announcing that not only were families matched, but some have actually received referrals now. I'm so happy for any families that received their referrals and I'm on pins and needles waiting for my own referral. There are probably still at least 50 families ahead of me, so it could be a while. And things could still slow down in Nepal due to governmental changes, but right now, I'm just happy things started moving.

Please keep the prayers coming that all the children in Nepal (and around the world) needing homes, will find them soon. I'm still cautiously optimistic that my turn will come soon.
