Well - it took a week to put together, a few hours at a time, but Lucas' swingset, a birthday present from Nana and Grandad is complete now and he LOVES it. I was so worried because sometimes he is scared to try new things, but in this case, he hopped right on, climbed up the slide backwards and off he went. Where do kids learn to go UP a slide? Anyway, he's having tons of fun and I can't wait to sit outside this summer and watch him play.
In other news, Lucas has a mild case of chicken pox. He had the vaccine, so it's not too bad, but I was surprised he has them at all. I guess if there's a virus out there to catch, Lucas will catch it. Typical of my kid!
Nothing new from Nepal. I keep hoping that things will take off soon and we'll get a referral.
