December already

It's hard to believe it's December already. And it's going so fast. The kids are ready for Christmas. Lucas asks me all the time when it is coming. They are having a lot of fun with their chocolate advent calendars and our Elf on the Shelf. That elf sure gets around every day.

Here are a few pictures of the kids while we were waiting for Santa. This is the first time Lucas has ever gotten close to Santa and I have to give Lydia all the credit. She's walking around the malls saying "hi Santa" and running up to him. Lucas is a little unsure still, but wants to make sure Santa knows what to bring him, so he's not going to be left behind. Lydia doesn't really want much this year, but every once in a while she tells me to put something on her this (she got that from her brother). It's like I'm their secretary!
