Lydia is excited too. I think Lucas' excitement is rubbing off on her because I'm not sure how much of last year's Christmas she remembers. She asks me sometimes if Santa is going to bring her presents. She does sometimes sound like her brother when we're in a store and she yells "put that on my list!" So in addition to my mom job recently, I'm also a secretary.
On Friday night, we went to our central fire station to watch Santa arrive on a fire truck. The kids were in awe. And then we got to ride in the truck. Pretty cool huh? After our ride, we waited in a long line for Santa and got another good picture. Lucas is starting to talk a little more to Santa. It's so cute to see. Lydia isn't hesitant at all, but she is a little quiet talking to him.
Last weekend was also our new cousin Jefferson's baptism. I got a good picture of the four older kids and then one with Jefferson in it too. They are the cutest things when they aren't running around the church. The girls especially were a handful during the baptism. When our priest said we could get up and gather around, the girls got up close to him and started jumping up and down the one step. Kind of embarrassing, but hard to stop. It seems like the older siblings always have a lot of fun at those things. :)
