On the spur of the moment about two weeks ago, we made plans to go to DisneyWorld for a long weekend. As the bus pulled up in front of the Magic Kingdom on Friday, I almost started crying. I'm not one to get sentimental very often, but something about taking my two kids to Disney after all we've been thru over the last few years really got to me. A few months ago, we were in Nepal and I was worried that I'd never bring Lydia home and look at us now. And I was a little scared they were too young and wouldn't enjoy it. Boy was I wrong! As soon as we entered the Magic Kingdom, we saw Pluto and Daisy Duck. We waited about an hour in two lines to see both of them and from then on the character hunt was on. Lydia started by hugging Daisy Duck and continued hugging all the characters. We headed back to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Lucas was in awe. Lucas had tons of fun getting the characters autographs.
We rode some rides and hunted for more characters. It was a spectacular time. A long weekend gave us a taste of the fun and I can't wait to take them back someday!
Isn't Lydia stylish with her Tigger hat and Minnie Mouse purse?
Nana and Grandad came along too which was awesome. I never would have taken my two angels so far without lots of help. Fun was had by all!

It would have been great to run into each other at Disney. I love the pics and it is so wonderful that you were able to share this experience with both of your beautiful kids.
