The weather is wonderful today so we went to the park. Lucas had tons of fun on the slides. And it was also fun for him to lead mommy around the play area. It took a lot of encouragement to get him to crawl through the tunnel. He kept trying, and getting halfway before he put it in reverse and crawled backwards. It was so funny. Our family looked so silly, waving and calling him from the other end of the tunnel. Finally, I crawled through right after him and pushed him out the other end. What an accomplishment! Unfortunately, I think it's supposed to get cold again. Bummer. Lucas loves being outside, so I hope spring comes soon!
Baby #2 update: I collected all my paperwork for my dossier. It was all notarized earlier this week. On Wednesday, my social worker double checked the notarizations and then I sent it to the Secretary of State Index office to be certified. The next step is to send it to the Vietnam Embassy in Washington, DC and then off to Vietnam. I hope everyone else who has a dossier in progress is doing well too!

Hi Mindee, I need to admit that I've been lurking for a while...a long while, like since you were in VN getting Lucas! But, I'm fessing up now. I think I'm very close to you on our agency's VN list, a couple spots behind you. We are also working on our dossier. Just wanted to say hi.

Today was such a beautiful day! On our way home from church, I said that I wished we could take the boys to the park. I'm glad that you and Lucas got to enjoy it. I know you already know this, but Lucas is so adorable! -Gina
Lucas looks like he is having so much fun! We miss our Ava so much and we can't wait to be home to enjoy the spring weather. I always check in on Lucas to see how he is doing. Someday we'll get Ava and him together to play! Life's just been a "little" crazy as you know.
