Great news on the second adoption. After 9 long months of waiting, I've moved from my starting position of #156 to #99 for baby #2. It was a milestone to finally get below 100. My next goal is to put my dossier (collection of paperwork) together and have it sent to Hanoi, Vietnam - I'm just waiting for CHI to give me the OK. After my dossier is done, I'll patiently (yeah right) wait for a referral. I'm still optimistically hoping for a referral by the end of 2008, but I may be dreaming. If not by the end of the year, at least I'll be a lot closer to the top of the list.
As for Lucas, have you ever watched the cartoon Handy Manny on the Disney Channel? Well, Handy Lucas lives at our house. Something was clogging up the vacuum yesterday and Lucas was right there to help me fix it. He's really talented because he can fix the vacuum and keep his animal crackers handy for a snack at the same time! What a cutie!

It feels great to be getting close to maybe starting the dossier. I was hoping to travel end of this year. This is what im hoping for-We are 92 on the list. I hope we get some great news this week.
This is great news. Both for you and for me! I am right behind you, so I must be 100. I need to fax my adoption consultant with some forms that she needs tomorrow, so I will drop an e-mail off to her to verify my place in line.
