Happy December!

I can't believe it's December already. Last weekend, we were going to go to the CHI holiday party in St Louis, but we didn't make it. That winter storm that came through the midwest dumped freezing rain in our area. It just wasn't safe to drive to St Louis early in the morning with the slick roads. Even my dogs were slipping on the patio when they went outside. But I was determined to shop on Saturday so Nana, Lucas and I waited until later in the morning and then set out for St Louis anyway. About the time the party was ending is the time we started shopping. And I shopped like crazy and filled up my Jeep Liberty - we barely had room for Lucas on the way home. :)
He was so cute. I bought him a frog chair to keep at Nana and Grandad's house. Lucas has gotten a little bossy recently with Grandad and wants to sit in Grandad's chair to watch Barney and the Wiggles. So I thought I'd get him a cute chair. You can probably guess that didn't work. Lucas sat in the frog chair for a while, but he still makes Grandad move once in a while. Poor Grandad - I guess he can sit in the frog chair.....




And here's one more picture of my bossy little guy. One of his new things is to sit on Grandad's feet. Poor grandad - having 28lbs of baby sitting on your ankles like this doesn't look comfortable to me at all!!!
