Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. Lucas had so much fun eating. He loved the sweet potatoes, green bean cassarole, dressing, mashed potatoes and the dinner roll. He wasn't that into the turkey, but who needs turkey when you eat so many side dishes?
After dinner, Lucas helped Grandad set up his new train set in the living room. Grandad is really into trains and Lucas likes them too.
By the way, it wasn't such a good holiday for mommy. I must have picked up some kind of bug, because I was sick all day and couldn't eat anything. How could that happen to me on Thanksgiving???? But thankfully, Lucas hasn't gotten it yet and it must have just been a 24 hour thing because I've been able to eat leftovers. :)


Tuesday it was really warm here so Lucas and I played outside for a while. And then Lucas ran errands with Nana and Aunt Ali while I put Christmas lights up outside. Thank heaven I was able to get most of the lights up while it was still warm. It's turned really COLD now!

And yesterday, we put up our Christmas tree. More than anything, Lucas is interested in the handmade ornaments from his cousins. He doesn't really want to put them on tree, he wants to put them in and out of the bag that another ornament had been stored in. What a silly guy!


And we had our first big bump on the head earlier this week. Lucas only has one speed right now and it's really FAST!!!! He went running down the hallway and tripped and fell into the doorway. I tried not to freak out, but I called the nurse anyway, just in case. To make a long story short, the big bump had faded by morning and Lucas was acting just fine. I made it through another scary mommy moment. :)
