Lucas went to the doctor last Thursday for his 12 month check up. He had 2 shots and weighed in at 23 lbs. He is 30 1/2 inches long (and that was still in the 90th percentile). I've been telling everyone that he's tall and thin, but if you've seen his thunder thighs, you'd know I'm lying.

Here's a little update on Lucas' progress. He's not walking yet, but he is holding on to the furniture and moving around a little. He crawled up three stairs in the basement last week, with Mommy right behind him. He's getting quite demanding. When I'm holding him, he points his arm in the direction he wants to go. And he also points and grunts from his high chair when he wants my food instead of Cheerios. He loves TCBY frozen yogurt and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. He likes swinging in the yard. And he loves it when we chase the dogs.

We had our first boo-boo today. Lucas slipped when he was crawling and cut his lip on his teeth. Mommy handled it OK, but Nana said he was going to have to move in with her if that is how Mommy was going to take care of him.
