Happy Mother's Day weekend!

Saturday was a wonderful day. The kids and Nana and I went to St Louis for fun. We went to the new American Girl store, ToysrUs and the Botanical Garden. It was awesome. Lydia was beside herself at the AG store. She was jumping up and down and running from display to display. She came home with Kaya. She's been talking about Kaya for weeks. So you can't make your first trip to the AG store just to look right? So she and Nana picked out a great looking Kaya and now she's all ours. After having Kaya out of the box in the car for 15 minutes, then Lydia said "Next I need Kit." NANA, YOU'VE CREATED A MONSTER WITH AN EXPENSIVE HABIT. Today for church we did Lydia's hair like Kaya's. As for the botanical garden, I totally recommend it. We had a blast and I wasn't so sure the kids would have fun. To start with, they are having a Lantern Festival starting May 26th the place was decorated with gorgeous Asian dragons, etc. Just spectacular. And the children's garden was so fun for the kids. They ran all over the place. Mom and I agreed, it was a super day.
