Riding around outside
The kids were riding around in the cul-de-sac yesterday afternoon. They both had a really good time. Poor Lydia has such short legs and she didn't want to ride the smaller toy. She hopped right on the big toy and scooted around really fast. The only problem was, she could get on the toy, but not off. So she tried a few times and got stuck or crashed or she'd call for me to pull her off. She also ran into Lucas' jeep twice. It was so funny watching them. And if Lydia is this fast now, I hate to see how fast she'll be once her feet can reach the pedals. She was also a little backwards on the baby toy. That's how she likes to ride it.
I'm a single mom to Lucas who was adopted in August 2006 thru CHI. I started the process to adopt a sibling for Lucas on Valentine's Day 2007. I've requested either gender and as young as possible. Most likely, our new baby will be a boy because of the high demand for girls. I'm so excited for Lucas to have a brother!
As of 01/06/09, I'm #64 on the waiting list. Still hoping for a miracle with Vietnam!
2/1/09 - Vietnam is on hold and I'm currently hoping to adopt from Nepal in 2009!
In June 2010, we were blessed with our new addition from Nepal, Lydia Madhavi.
