Matching clothes!

I've gone a little crazy ordering clothes for Lydia. And as you can probably see, Nana has made her a ton of matching bows. So while I was shopping, I thought the kids needed something that matched. I put it on them for church today and I couldn't be happier. Aren't they darling?

Lydia is still doing well. She seems happy most of the time. She loves to join in and play with Lucas. All three of us were playing picnic today on the living room floor. Then we pretended to take a nap on the same pillow. When Lucas tackles me on the floor, Lydia jumps on too. It's just amazing.

Lucas is doing well too. He just adores having Lydia around (usually) and likes that she laughs at his antics. When she's asleep, he asks when she's going to get up. And when she's fussing in her bed, he makes sure I know his baby sister needs me. He doesn't like it when she touches his stuff, even if he's not playing with it. And he doesn't like it when she goes in his bedroom. I've been keeping his bedroom door shut, but if we open it, Lydia rushes right in. I'm sure she knows some of these things are driving her brother nuts. It's just the little sister's job right, to keep him on his toes?

Here they are playing at the mall.

How sweet are they!!! Was she able to wear that dress or was it too big? How is it with two babies? i don't know if I could handle another one.

Wow! This is a great story. I have been following your journey for a while (I wrote you prior to my adoption of my son). I have a boy also and have wondered about baby 2 as a single Mom. You are an inspiration! Congratulations! Beautiful family!
