Two days off work!

I've had a nice four-day weekend from work. Lucas has three options for daycare and wouldn't you know, all three were busy this Monday and Tuesday. I thought it was a sign for us to spend a few Mommy and Lucas days together doing things we wouldn't always have time to do.
We went to the library yesterday and he took books on and off the shelves. He didn't want to read any, but he was having a really good time. And yesterday afternoon, we played in the sprinkler. He was so cute leaning over and trying to drink the water. This morning, we went back to the library for story time. Lucas was a little shy at first and wouldn't get off my lap, but by the end, he was excitedly running around with the other kids. We were one of the last to leave.
This stay at home mom stuff is really hard, but it's been really nice to spend a few extra days together. I'll have to schedule some time off once in a while to do things like this.
