Another week goes by!

I'm coming up on 11 months on the waiting list. It's been so long, I don't know how I'll have the patience to wait another 11 months or so. If it wasn't for Lucas, I'd probably go crazy. He keeps me so busy, that I don't have time to worry about baby #2.
You know this mommy thing can really throw you off though. I have a little story for you from Friday. I was up early, getting ready for work, but somehow as I was taking care of Lucas, I got out of my normal routine. As I was driving to work, I was on the phone to my sister in Florida and I told her that I thought I was forgetting something. I do that a lot anymore - I can't help but think it's due to Lucas. Anyway, I was working along fine and around 10:30, I finally looked in the mirror for the first time. I didn't have any makeup on. OHMIGOSH - how embarrassing! I'm probably going to totally lose it when baby #2 finally comes home.

And here's a typical Lucas story for you. He loves all things that aren't toys and he spends so much time just figuring things out. Last week he spent at least 30 minutes before bed hanging his clothes on the gate in the doorway to his room. He'd hang them up and take them back down. I was impressed with his motor skills and hand/eye coordination. He was so proud of himself, I just had to take a picture.
