Lucas is taking steps!

Can you believe it? My baby boy is starting to walk. He's been cruising the furniture faster and faster the last few weeks. On Monday, I was a little late leaving work and I called Nana to let her know. She said "You'll never guess what your son just did." And of course I said WALKED?? She said he took 7 steps across their family room. And he's been letting go of the furniture and taking steps more and more ever since! His balance still isn't very good, but it's getting better all the time. And last night, he stood up all by himself - not pulling up, but stood up! He had to grab the furniture right away to keep from falling over, but I was totally impressed! Of course, he thinks he's pretty cool and has a huge smile on his face. Now he's going to be impossible to catch! And watch out dogs!
Hopefully, I'll be able to get some good pictures to post, but so far, I've just been excited to watch.
